Dr. Gregory R. Cannizzo

Dr. Gregory R. Cannizzo graduated from the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in 1987 and has practiced general dentistry for more than 20 years in the McHenry area. Three years after starting his practice, he received advanced training in orthodontics and has helped correct the smiles of children, teens and adults for over 17 years. Dr. Cannizzo's experience also includes advanced training in ceramic restorations and veneers. While his gentle manner is appreciated by all his patients, he is especially experienced in working with children.

Dr. Cannizzo is a member as well as President of the prestigious G.P.Orthodontics. He is the co-editor of the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society and has published several articles in both American and Foreign journals. Dr. Cannizzo is also a member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, The McHenry County Dental Society, The Chicago Dental Society and The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Susan A. Carroll

Dr. Susan A. Carroll graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1989. She has maintained a general dental practice in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago since that time. Dr. Carroll shares Dr. Cannizzo's interest in orthodontics. As a mother as well as a dentist, she is well aware of the negative impact a crooked smile can have on a childs, as well as an adults self-esteem. It is for this reason that she has pursued advanced training in orthodontics; in order to provide her patients, both young and old this service. Like Dr. Cannizzo, Dr. Carroll is able to provide both traditional braces as well as invisible removable braces,depending on the individual patient's needs.

Dr. Carroll has similarly authored several articles in Dental journals. Her most recent article dealt with the importance of being able to incorporate Orthodontics in a complex treatment plan to provide the optimal esthetic result. Dr. Carroll is also a member of the prestigious Academy of G.P. Orthodontics, The American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Carroll resides in Hinsdale with her four children.
